The magistrate of the Tver court of Moscow Olga Borovkova, who became famous for the adoption of serial decisions on the arrest of opposition figures, married and changed her last name. As Interfax reports, this was reported in the Moscow City Court. “She got married in October last year and took her wife’s last name. Now she is Olga Zatoskaya,” said Anna Usacheva, spokeswoman for the Moscow City Court. The fact that Judge Borovkova changed her last name a few weeks ago and is now listed in the documents as Olga Zatoskaya was reported the day before by the New Gazeta.

The other day, activist Andrei Semenov wrote on his blog that on February 13, Borovkova-Zatomskaya rejected his petition to be allocated. In support of her decision, she referred not only to the "far -fetched" of Semenov’s arguments, but also to the fact that "the chairman is the magistrate of Zatomskaya."

Last year, Borovkova issued decisions on administrative arrests of the leaders of the opposition Ilya Yashin, Boris Nemtsov, Eduard Limonov, Konstantin Kosyakin and Vladimir Thor for participating in protests on December 31, 2010. During the hearings in the case of Nemtsov Borovkova, she refused to provide Nemtsov with a chair. Later, Borovkova awarded fines to the activists, who a few days later arranged an action near the court building, appearing there with plastic chairs "for Borovka".

In 2011, Borovkova continued to award the arrests and fines of opposition activists. It was she who sentenced to 15 days the arrest of Alexei Navalny and Ilya Yashin for participating in an unauthorized procession in pure ponds after the parliamentary elections on December 5. Borovkova also issued decisions on the arrest of Sergey Udaltsov several times in a row.

As a result, personal data of Borovkova, including the address of residence, were posted on open access on the Internet. After that, Borovkova accused the opposition representatives of constant pressure, which "in various forms ended before, now it was simply done in a more cynical form." “Unfortunately, the consideration of administrative cases in relation to the participants of inconsistent public events takes place in a restless environment and does not do without provocations. Often, the associates of the persons held accountable arrange whole theatrical performances at the court building, in the judicial site itself, justifying this with their right to protect and expression,” Izvestia complained.

In connection with the "persecution of Borovkova", the chairman of the Moscow City Court Olga Egorova asked the Moscow police to provide their subordinate with a round -the -clock guard, which was done. Immediately after this, the judge took the sick leave. She went to work only in February. It is reported that now Borovkova-Zatomskaya works only in his 369th section, and the cases of oppositionists should rarely get to it.
