Viktor Rashnikov spoke about the results of the year MMK

The chairman of the board of directors of OJSC MMK Viktor Rashnikov made a report at a traditional meeting with the leaders of the MMK OJSC and representatives of the trade union committee.

Rashnikov recalled that the MMK turned 80 years old, and summed up the work of the plant and its subsidiaries.

Magnitogorsk belongs a lot of production records - the railway composition from the commodity products of the plant, made for 80 years of the MMK, is able to go around the Earth equator almost 3 times. MMK produces more than 17% of the total production of metal rolling in Russia and occupies leading positions in the production of steel. The maximum annual production of marketable metal products in the amount of 12.2 million tons of MMK reached in 2007.

For many types of products, the plant is a leader in the Russian market.

Since 2000, 8.2 billion US dollars have been invested in the implementation of the MMK investment program. As a result, a modern high -tech metallurgical complex was created, the quality of manufactured products has improved, the consumption of material resources has decreased, and the efficiency of production processes has increased.

The proportion of products of a deep degree of processing is growing - in 2011, compared with 2000, the production of such products increased by 481 thousand tons, in 2012 the increase will be 891 thousand tons.

The technical re -equipment of the MMK made it possible to improve not only production, but also environmental indicators. Despite the increase in production volumes, the technogenic load on the environment has decreased, in particular, the specific emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere decreased by almost 2 times.

From 2000 to 2011, the average monthly wage at the plant increased by 7.6 times, and its growth rate is ahead of inflation and the consumer basket. According to the results of 2011, the average monthly wage at the plant increased by 14.6% and amounted to 39,561 rubles. From 2000 to 2011, 8.9 billion rubles were sent to the implementation of social programs and charity, in particular, in 2011 - 1.17 billion rubles.
