In the Republic of Tatarstan, a preliminary investigation of a criminal case was completed against a student of a pedagogical college. The student beat the girls, extorting money from them.
A 17-year-old resident of the city of Menzelinsk will appear before the court, the official website of the Republican Investigation Department reports.
According to the investigation, in the evening of January 8 in Menzelinsk, two 13-year-old girls met two girls during a walk. They quarreled because of the young man and scheduled a new meeting the next day to find out the relationship. Investigators believe that several more girls came to support their friends, including the accused.
The student of the college took one of the victims to the side and hit her foot in the stomach. "And when she rose from the ground after a blow, she also hit her fist in the face," the press release says.
A friend of the victim tried to intercede and was also beaten by a future teacher. After that, the accused demanded that one girl pay her a thousand rubles, and the second - two thousand. At the same time, she threatened with a new reprisal if the victims tell about what happened to someone, RIA Novosti reports.
One of the girls was scared and gave the accused a thousand rubles, and the second refused to pay. The accused, according to investigators, called her and sent SMS messages demanding to give money. Later, in a company with two young people and a friend, she poked a girl near the house. The victim was taken outside the city and beaten until she agreed to pay. Returning home, the girl reported the incident of her mother.
“The accused was detained on the same day. The girl found her guilt completely and repented to the deed,” said Andrei Sheptitsky, assistant to the head of the investigative department.
For consideration on the merits, the case was sent to Menzelinsky District Court. The accused is charged with paragraph "in" part 2 of article 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (extortion committed using violence).
