On March 5, a rally was held on the square in front of the Palace of Entertainment and Sports in support of Vladimir Putin, who won the presidential election, whose motto was “Russia, forward!”
The event was organized by the regional federation of trade unions together with the all-Russian Popular Front. About 2,500 people took part in the rally.

“The motto means that Russia must develop. Of course, to a certain extent, today’s event is connected with the election results. We associate with Vladimir Putin a guarantee of production development and wage increases,” said Pavel Musorin, head of the information center of the regional trade union federation.
TEMZ General Director Ivan Pushkarev, academician Evgeny Choinzonov, sculptor Leonty Usov and several students addressed the audience.

No one denied that people were taken to the rally, because the rally took place during working hours, after the end several people asked where the “tent where you need to check in” was located.

The rally lasted 20 minutes, after the end people released balloons into the sky and left the square in five minutes.
