The head of the Federal Penitentiary Service, Alexander Reimer, is accused of sexual harassment using his official position, as well as the illegal wiretapping of his employee. The corresponding application addressed to the head of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin came from a woman who appears in the press as “Catherine Mishina”.

The 40-year-old woman has served as part of the FSIN since 2002. Starting the guard of the pre -trial detention center, in 2007 she became a senior inspector on special assignments in the apparatus of the predecessor of Reimer - Yuri Kalinin. Having occupied the Kalinin’s office, the Reimer, according to the victim, made her his personal secretary, after which he began to persuade her to have sex. After repeated refusals, the Mishina’s phone was illegally put on wiretapping in the framework of corruption in the Zelenograd colony-settlement. According to the woman, she had nothing to do with the defendants of that business. In the end, showing the secretary a pack of printouts of her telephone negotiations, in which she spoke unpleasantly about the chef, Reimer fired her. She could not find a new job in power structures, her husband, who worked as a collector in Chop, and brother were soon fired. According to the victim, all this was the result of pressure from Alexander Reimer.

Experts surveyed by Izvestia believe that the charges are behind the struggle of the clans inside the system. Arriving at a new place of work, the former head of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Samara region made a lot of enemies for himself, trying to stop intracity intrigues. In the summer of 2010, large -scale cleaning was carried out, more than 20 generals and even more employees were fired lower than Russia throughout Russia. The chairman of the National Anti -Corruption Committee of Russia Kirill Kabanov believes that the scandal should not be reflected on the fate of Reimer, and the reform he had begun will be completed.
