
The emperor of Japan Akihito, who successfully suffered aorto -hunkering on February 18, was again hospitalized today for another operation - this time doctors should remove the liquid from his lungs.
This was reported by ITAR-TASS with reference to the representative of the Directorate of the Imperial Court of Japan, in the hospital of which today's procedure will be carried out.
From the moment of discharge from the hospital on March 4, the Akihito rehabilitation process is not as fast as the doctors expected. In this regard, the emperor was the other day by another examination, which revealed the presence of a liquid in his lungs, which caused, among other things, shortness of breath during walking.
Today, doctors must pump out excess fluids from the lungs of the Japanese monarch, and the rest, according to their forecasts, should disappear itself within two weeks. Doctors emphasize that during this period the monarch is not required to hospitalize.
After the operation on February 18, the emperor of Japan Akihito underwent a rehabilitation course under the supervision of the brigade of the best cardiologists and surgeons of the country.
The Emperor’s hospital was repeatedly visited by Empress Mitiko and sons with their wives and grandchildren.
And on the day of the operation, about 12 thousand people left the written wishes of good health to the emperor in a special book exhibited in front of his palace in the center of Tokyo.
