The authorities are moving along the route of their election promises and hints of change, demonstrating that they themselves also want “the same changes” as those who disagree and any opposition.

What do I mean? On the one hand, the power vertical clearly and convincingly demonstrated with the results of the presidential elections that it can, if it wants, do whatever it wants. And no opposition, neither systemic nor non-systemic, can interfere with it yet. On the other hand, the authorities themselves are already somewhat tired of the state of climate, order, and atmosphere that exists in the musty apartment-country. The authorities also want to clean up and ventilate the apartment. It is not clear to what depth of changes (renovations) of the apartment the authorities are ready and agree to.

Some signs already indicate that preparations for repairs have begun: political reforms of the political process itself; there is a feeling in the air that the symbol of the flogging of big business, Khodorkovsky, is about to be released somehow. Putin publicly stood up for the mean girls who personally offended him, which is equivalent to everything in our country. A final warning has been given to big thieves and swindlers - the introduction into the Duma of a law on the complete confiscation of ALL property of officials who have stolen (are there others in the country?); A clear signal was given to a large and authoritative criminal: a sentence of 15 years for Kumarin; permission was given for a rally on March 10 for dissent in the center of Moscow, after the opposition did everything to prevent it from happening; There are a number of other signals that many who want to see see.

So far it is clear that what the authorities do or demonstrate does not satisfy everyone. But it’s like in that joke: There is a divorce going on in court in Odessa.
