Ex-Minister of Internal Affairs of Buryatia, Viktor Susyur, accused of smuggling, filed a lawsuit in the Savelovsky court to protect honor and dignity, Interfax reports. Susyura demands to recover 88 million rubles from the Investigative Committee and the VGTRK.

The reason for the lawsuit was the comments of investigators in the Susyura case, given in the programs “Honest Detective. Smuggling for generals ”and“ Vesti. The duty unit ”who was aired on October 29, 2011. According to Sosyura, investigators categorically stated that he committed crimes.

In addition to compensation for non-pecuniary damage of 88 million rubles, the ex-minister asks to oblige the VGTRK to refute the contested information.

Recall that today the investigation was terminated by the case of Susyura, who was arrested in 2009, in connection with the decriminalization of the Criminal Code of the Criminal Code on smuggling. Viktor Susyura, according to investigators, being the head of the Azov-Black Sea Internal Affairs of the Internal Affairs Directorate in transport, since 2004 ensured unhindered imports from abroad to Russia, hiding them from customs control. He also took measures to prevent the exposure of the activities of the criminal group.
