German doctors, who examined the ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko on February 16, recognized her as disabled, UNIAN reports with reference to lawyer Sergei Vlasenko.
The defender of Yulia Tymoshenko noted that he has a conclusion of doctors translated into Ukrainian. He read out only excerpts from this document to reporters. According to one of the quotes, "Mrs. Tymoshenko with this complex of complaints is disabled."
At the same time, Sergey Vlasenko did not announce the diagnosis of his client. He read out an excerpt from the conclusion of doctors, which refers to "the existing pain syndrome and a significant limitation of mobility from September." “Syndromes of this species cause severe pain, which often cannot be relieved even by treatment with anti -inflammatory medicines,” the conclusion says. “Insufficient treatment for a long time leads to chronic pain,” doctors concluded.
Recall that in August last year, Yulia Tymoshenko was arrested and placed in jail. After she was accused of abuse of powers when concluding gas agreements with Russia and sentenced to seven years in prison, at the end of December she was transferred to the colony. The associates of the ex-Prime Minister and her daughter have repeatedly noted that in conclusion her health worsened. They also stated that in jail, and later in the colony, she did not receive the necessary treatment.
The Ukrainian media, citing the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine, reported that Tymoshenko demanded that she be sent for treatment to one of the Berlin clinics. In the penitentiary service, for their part, they assure that Tymoshenko receives the necessary medical care in the colony.
Earlier, some media reported that German doctors made Yulia Tymoshenko the diagnosis of the “vertebral hernia” and recommended surgical intervention to her. Later, Sergei Vlasenko denied this information.
