The wife of Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Duma Harry Minha was injured in an accident near Pskov

The wife of the Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in the State Duma, Harry Minha, was injured in an accident that occurred on Tuesday near Pskov, the Pskov Region Ministry of Internal Affairs told Interfax .

“On March 12 at 15.40 in the Bezhanitsky district, on the 99th km of the Novgorodka - Pushkin Mountains - Loknya highway, a head-on collision between a Mitsubishi Space Star and a Lexus occurred. The driver of the Mitsubishi Space Star, a resident of the Vologda region, did not choose a safe one at the curve of the road speed, lost control, drove into oncoming traffic and made a head-on collision with a Lexus car driven by a driver born in 1959,” the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

According to a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the wife of the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the State Duma, Harry Minha, was in the Lexus car as a passenger. As a result of the accident, the Lexus driver and his passenger, born in 1976, as well as the Mitsubishi driver and his passenger, born in 1964, were hospitalized with various injuries.

The Presidential Envoy to the State Duma denied information about an accident involving his wife. In response to a question whether he could confirm the information of a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that his wife was among those injured in the accident, Harry Minkh said: “No.” He claims that nothing of the kind happened.

Minkh himself was in the State Duma on Tuesday, participating in the plenary session of the lower house of parliament.

On January 19, 2011, an accident occurred on Rublevo-Uspenskoye Highway near the village of Razdory involving Harry Minha’s BMW. The driver of the car, Vladimir Shugaev, died at the scene. Another participant in the accident, Elena Yarosh, who was driving an Opel Astra, was hospitalized with numerous fractures and a concussion. A criminal case was initiated under Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles, resulting in the death of a person through negligence). On June 21, 2011, the criminal case was closed due to the death of the BMW driver, who was found guilty. Elena Yarosh was officially recognized as a victim.
