When the state of domestic science is discussed at any level - in smoking rooms, on Internet forums, at round tables, everyone unanimously notes its deplorable state, and no significant differences in its assessment are observed. When it comes to ways out of this situation, it turns out that there are many opinions, sometimes diametrically opposed, since the participants in the discussions have different understandings of the tasks of science and look at the processes from different angles.

When it comes to specific actions, it turns out that all the transformations not only do not contribute to the creative work of active scientists, but simply create many additional bureaucratic obstacles in their path, which only leads to a decrease in the level of science in the country. The only way to reverse the current trend is to implement the changes that are proposed by active scientists.

forum for many years Having participated in discussions on the Scientific.ru , I have recently seen that a group of scientists has appeared who:

- has a high scientific rating,

— puts forward proposals aimed at improving the state of science and supported by a large part of active scientists,

— has experience in implementing a number of such proposals.

Therefore, I came to the organizational meeting and voted for the creation of the Society of Scientific Workers, since I consider it necessary to give these scientists a chance in a new organizational status to continue the work they began. Time will tell what will come of this. I would like to wish the Society “seven feet under the keel”!
