Within the framework of the inclusive education in 20 regions of the week (March 12-18), the Moscow Secondary School No. 518 spent the open day. The fact is that this is one of those schools where special children also study with ordinary students. I call them special because I do not like the word "disabled".
But the word "inclusive" in 99% of compatriots is closely connected with the Turkish "all on."
I apologize to those who know about the problem. For those who do not know and, in order to avoid meaningless comments, I will explain. Inclusion in education is not only the coincidence of special and ordinary children in one educational institution, it is also "this is the recognition of the value of the differences between all children and their ability to teach, which is carried out in the way that is most suitable for this child. This is a flexible system that takes into account the needs of all children, not only with the problems of development, but also of different ethnic groups, gender, belonging to one or another social group. It is adjusted to the child, and not a child for the system, and not some special groups receive advantages, new approaches to learning are often used, children with features can be in the group of full time or partially, studying with support and according to the individual curriculum. " (With)
In Russian legislation, the concept of inclusive education is completely absent, despite the long calls of the public to the authorities to make the necessary amendments to the laws.
In Russia, more or less inclusion is developed only in Moscow. And then thanks to enthusiasts from public organizations and teachers. It is easier for the authorities to pay off special people.
That's all, enough educational program, back to school No. 518. I'll just show a few photos.
I apologize in advance for the quality of the photos - taken by the phone and I am not Varlamov ;-)

6. At the end of the visit, children from inclusive classes made us a small but pleasant surprise.
7. And I can not but introduce you to one of the enthusiasts - Maria Perfilieva from Rooi "Perspective".
Thanks to the director and teaching staff of this school, as well as high school students who arranged for us a tour of the school.
I want to add that this school was shown to President Medvedev. Apparently, this is a sample, or it simply turned out to be convenient from the point of view of the President’s security service. Don't know. I know one thing - the UN Convention on the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities is still not ratified and there is no state support in this area.
For example, in the Voronezh region, as the 1st channel recently told us, there are only 1 similar school in which 16 special children study.
