The first female mayor in the history of Naryan-Mar took office

The new mayor of Naryan-Mar, Tatyana Fedorova, the first female mayor in the history of the city, took office, the press service of the city administration told Interfax .

The inauguration ceremony took place in the city administration building on Wednesday, March 14. It was attended by the chief federal inspector for the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, representatives of the district administration, meetings of district deputies, and heads of city enterprises.

Tatyana Fedorova was nominated as a candidate for the post of mayor by the regional branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. In the elections held on March 4, 39.6% of voters supported her.
