The new German car, at which he starts in the championship on March 18 in Australia, received the name "Abby". According to Autosport.com , earlier Sebastian intended to christen her with a “common wife” - in his opinion, the new creation came out so elegant that no one would refuse him. But from this idea in the team he was still dissuaded, since Vettel’s colleagues would have to answer many uncomfortable questions.

“I decided to give my new car the name“ Abbey ”,” Vettel told Bild. “You don’t need to guess about the reason for my decision. This is a secret. Some journalists believe that this has a direct connection to one of the songs The Beatles or the same turn on the highway in Silverstone, but it will not be considered that I just really like this word.”
