Sergei Udaltsov - is this a path to nowhere?

Sergei Udaltsov is the leader of the “Left Front” in Russia, one of the leaders of the Russian opposition, a fighter for the rights of working people, using left-wing radical rhetoric in his speeches, calling for the construction of a left-wing state in Russia.

At the same time, Sergei Udaltsov has no idols. He is not ready to follow the path of the former leader of the Russian proletariat V.I. Lenin to build communism. He considers Stalin to be the great leftist leader of the Russian people, who, despite his greatness, built an unsuccessful state model of the Russian state. International leaders of the left movement in other countries are also not authoritative for Sergei Udaltsov, since those countries have their own specifics of the left movement. Sergei Udaltsov believes that it is necessary to follow his left path, which in essence he has not even begun to build yet.

Sergei calls the rallies taking place in Moscow protest rallies against the current government, which, however, are not aimed at overthrowing it. Sergei Udaltsov, in an interview with Ksenia Sobchak, admits that he and his comrades are not yet ready to take on “Winter”, so for now they are only peacefully protesting against the injustice emanating from the current government in Russia.

Sergei Udaltsov has been in the left movement since 1990, but there is no significant result yet. Why? Yes, because if a person goes nowhere, then he does not see the final goal, and therefore is not able not only to find it, but also to begin to move towards it.

Serey Udaltsov, professing leftist ideas, says nothing about ideology. What ideology does Sergei and his left front follow? If the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, with which Udaltsov entered into a cooperation agreement, is always moving along Lenin’s course, then Udaltsov declares that he wants to follow his own special leftist path, while remaining an adherent of leftist ideas.

But adherence to left-wing ideas is not yet an ideology. What is ideology needed for? Ideology first of all determines what the state system should be, and the state system forms the relations of state entities, private individuals, public and political structures, etc. in the country.

What do people vote for during elections? People vote for changes in their lives for the better. Ordinary people are of little interest in ideology, because people do not understand how important ideology is in the implementation of the programs proposed by the people's representatives.

A politician can write anything on paper, paper will endure anything, but how often does what is written on it come to life? This is probably why there are great political figures in history who managed to implement what they declared or wrote on paper.

What does ideology really give to society? Ideology forces a person to follow what he has declared, because any effective ideology gives a person the belief that his plans can be fulfilled. The former USSR developed intensively as long as people had faith in building communism. As soon as the people lost faith in communism, after which the communist idea was replaced by a socialist one, the gradual ideological decay of the USSR as a great power began.

V.I. Lenin did not intend to replace the concepts of communism with socialism, therefore his entire ideology was designed to build communism, not socialism, in Russia. But years later, when communism was recognized as a utopia by the communists themselves, the CPSU remained, and its communist ideology was replaced. In fact, the Communist Party began to preach socialism - a completely different leftist ideological movement based on Marxist-Leninist communist teachings. The communists began to build socialism on communist principles.

What can this be compared to?

For comparison, we can turn to the ideology of Christianity. Remember how the Templars gave away their lands for the sake of a wonderful life in the Kingdom of Heaven after their own death? This happened as long as the clergy of the Catholic Church, for the most part, themselves believed in what they preached. As soon as the Church lost faith, its flock gradually began to lose it.

The process of loss of faith began to develop intensively in society when, after the loss of faith by some of the highest ranks of clergy, the monarchs lost it, and the Christian Church began to split for political reasons. There was only one Bible, but there were more and more Churches, and each of them supported its own monarch. New clergymen began to interpret the same Bible in different ways, without forgetting their personal interests. Therefore, after years of rich people distributing their lands to the Church, there were fewer and fewer people. The reason for this was the degradation of Christian ideology.

Imagine if, for example, today’s Orthodox Church suddenly starts preaching Islam. What will happen, what authority will today’s Orthodox Church have, which has already disgraced itself with a schism and division of property between the UOC and the Russian Orthodox Church?

But the fact that the Communist Party of the Russian Federation is still a communist party does not surprise anyone, not even the communists themselves. And Sergei Udaltsov is ready to cooperate with the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, helping it build communism. Another thing surprises the members of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation: why can’t they still win the elections? And if at the same time we ask a very simple question - what is the Communist Party of the Russian Federation heading towards today, towards communism? After all, it is still a communist party, which means that in its ideological essence it is absolutely utopian. In any case, in the format of the Marxist-Leninist theory, which the Communist Party of the Russian Federation still follows.

Who needs utopia today? Modern people perceive utopia on a par with deception, which is why none of the modern progressive people want to vote for communists. The least literate people of Soviet times, of whom there are fewer and fewer in Russia, vote for communists. Therefore, what political perspective can the Communist Party of the Russian Federation have? If tomorrow a left party with a new modern ideology appears in Russia, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation will simply die.

Sergei Udaltsov, perhaps intuitively, or perhaps thanks to the advice of other politicians, understands that it is no longer possible for the left to continue moving towards utopia. Communism is ideologically outdated, at least in the form that Lenin proposed. But Sergei Udaltsov does not know where and what ideological left path to take. Therefore, his path is a path to nowhere and it will remain so until Sergei creates a political force based on modern leftist ideology.

Until then, he will only act as a left-wing provocateur, pushing his people onto the path of suffering rather than building a bright future for Russia. This is how the progressive people of Russia will perceive him, but without them you cannot build a bright future in Russia.
