Frosts down to minus 25 degrees are expected in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug

Forecasters of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug are warning residents about increased wind in the region, snowstorms and another cold snap, Interfax reports.

According to the Hydrometeorological Center of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, on Thursday, March 22, wind gusts can reach 15 meters per second. The air temperature at night will drop to minus 10-15 degrees, and when it clears up to 25 degrees below zero. During the day in the region the thermometer will rise to 2-7 degrees below zero.

In the next two days, March 23-24, there will be snow in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, and blizzards may occur in some places. At night the air temperature will drop to minus 5-10 degrees; if it clears, the thermometer may drop to minus 20-25 degrees on Friday, and to 28 degrees below zero on Saturday.
