Photo: ITAR-TASS Text: Yana KarbovskayaStudents of the University of Dubna received the glory of bold civilian activists after the appearance of a video on the Internet, which shows how the rector drives sabotons to the Posoputinsky rally. Then they wrote a statement to the rector to the prosecutor’s office, and the case acquired a serious character. The authorship of the video and statements were immediately attributed to the students themselves.
Publicpost talked with the author of the video Yaroslav Vikulin and found out that not one of the real students of the university in history with the exposure of the protopyte rector is appearing. Both videos and a statement to the prosecutor's office are an initiative of caring people who have a very distant attitude towards the Dubna University.
Vikulin is a graduate of the University of Dubna and the secretary of the local branch of the Communist Party. He says that such collections of students at rallies at the university took place earlier, but only this time they managed to capture everything on camera.
On a ten -minute video, the rector of the University of Dubna Dmitry Fursaev gathers students for a rally in support of Vladimir Putin, which took place on March 5 on Manezhnaya Square.
Fursaev explains to students that they were specially removed from classes, because they should all participate "in an event that is very responsible for the university." “You saw what manifestations in Moscow were. We will participate in one of these actions,” the rector added. He also warned that everyone who did not fit the general meeting would be checked, their absence would take into account and would draw conclusions. After the rector’s speech, everyone settled on the buses and left.
Yaroslav Vikulin told Publicpost about how he shot a video with students: “We shot together - I and another person, he has nothing to do with the university, just a public activist. I don’t know why everyone is talking about students, because I submitted a statement to the prosecutor’s office, this activist and a group of residents of the city, who were outraged by the rector He asked him to comment on his actions, but he refused to say anything. "
In an interview with BBC, Dmitry Fursaev refused to comment, but stated that there was no coercion on his part, but about the video he added that "there are a lot of lies."
The PublicPost correspondent failed to talk with the leadership of Dubna University. In the reception room of Fursaev, they said that there were no comments yet, to the question, when they were, the secretary replied that only after the request from the prosecutor's office, and threw the phone.
