
Digital Sky Technologies (DST), which owns the Facebook shares, is going to attract $ 1 billion to create the DST Global III (DSTG III) technological investment fund. DST is founded by Yuri Milner , co -owner and former chairman of the board of directors Mail.ru Group . The DST assets include Facebook, Twitter , Groupon, Zynga and Linkedin packages. The previous public investment fund of the company, DSYG I, increased the attracted capital by 4.89 times (before taxes), the increase in income was 151% per year.
This time, the DST itself invests in the Facebook fund in the amount of $ 50 million. Privileged investors will be co -owners of this asset. The first investors are given discounts, including Facebook shares for them will cost 12% cheaper in relation to the internal assessment of the value of the company ($ 74 billion) and the Fund Commission will cost 25% cheaper.
DSTG III will be invested in the minority packages of Internet companies, the market capitalization of which will exceed $ 500 million, acquiring them in the later stages of the startup. The accommodation agent will be Goldman Sachs.
