Press: Putin will form a new government for Medvedev and declare the composition before the inauguration

The new government of Russia can be announced before May 7 - the day of the inauguration of the elected President Vladimir Putin - and before the prime minister Dmitry Medvedev, writes RBC Daily with reference to the press secretary of the still current Prime Minister Dmitry Peskov.

Prior to this, the Kremlin assured that the composition and structure of the government would be announced only after the inauguration. Thus, the future prime minister was supposed to announce the new cabinet. However, now Putin wants to distribute the responsibilities between members of the government and in this form to transfer his successor to his successor, they told reporters in the government.

“The new structure of the government with personalities will be represented by Vladimir Putin before his inauguration,” Prime Minister Dmitry Peskov confirmed the information to the site. “How this will be done, so far, such a presentation does not provide for a tough format.”

Another interlocutor of the site in the presidential administration did not exclude that Putin could declare partially on a new form of government on April 11 - during his last report to the State Duma. Peskov also confirmed that the report of the current head of government on April 11 would not be limited only to summing up the results of 2011, taking into account his election by the president.

According to "RBC Daily", there is certainly the point of forming the government before screaming in tandem. According to the law, proposals for the structure of federal executive bodies and on the appointment and withdrawal of deputy prime ministers and federal ministers from the post must represent the president. However, the already appointed prime minister distributes the responsibilities between members of the government.

The first vice-president of the Center for Political Technology, Alexei Makarkin, believes that the premiere rush is caused by two factors. Firstly, Putin would like to stop the starting hardware wars as soon as possible. Secondly, as Prime Minister Putin would like to maintain the continuity of the government.

“Of course, there will be new figures, the ministries will be disaggregated - simply because there is a public expectation of the change of some boring ministers,” the expert said. However, if Medvedev claimed the need to bring a “new young team” last year, then Putin emphasized this year this year.
