
In Argentina, seven workers died during the collapse of the building under construction. This was reported by local authorities.
The tragedy occurred in the capital of the Corrientes province of the same name during construction work, during which one of the ceilings of the construction of a multi-storey building was collapsed, ITAR-TASS reports.
RIA Novosti cites details, referring to the representative of the local police Sergio Agilar. "When concreting ceilings for installing a water tank on the seventh floor of the building on San Martin Street, a collapse occurred in the city of Corrintes," Agylar said on the Argentinean television channel Todo Noticias .
In addition to the seven dead, several people were injured. Five of them are in extremely serious condition.
Rescuers work at the scene of the accident. The reasons for the tragedy are being clarified.
