Onishchenko will personally advance to Ukraine to test defective cheeses

The head of Rospotrebnadzor, the chief state sanitary doctor of Russia Gennady Onishchenko, said that he could personally go to Ukraine in order to check the manufacturers of cheeses that were prohibited for importing in the Russian Federation.

Earlier, the head of Onishchenko reported that the department experts intend to go to Ukraine on Monday, March 26. The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Nikolai Prisyazhnyuk confirmed that Rospotrebnadzor officially informed the Ukrainian side that the department’s specialists will come with the inspection on March 26, RIA Novosti recalls.

"Our experts will definitely be in Kyiv on Monday. As soon as the need arises of my personal stay there, I will be there," Onishchenko said.

Recall that the so -called "cheese conflict" began after the chief state sanitary doctor of Russia, the head of Rospotrebnadzor Gennady Onishchenko signed documents on the seizure from the sale in Russia and the suspension of the import of cheese products of three Ukrainian manufacturers: the Prometheus emergency (Chernihiv region), the Piryatinsky cheese and LLC Gadyachsyr " (both are Poltava region).

Ukrainian manufacturers of cheeses supplied to Russia called the accusation unreasonable. However, later the Russian Ambassador to Ukraine promised that the “cheese question” between Ukraine and Russia would soon be settled.

After that, the Russian side expressed its readiness to resume the import of Ukrainian cheeses if they are of good quality.

However, at the end of February, the initiator of the “cheese war” between Ukraine and Russia, the head of Rospotrebnadzor Gennady Onishchenko said that he expanded the list of Ukrainian raw materials, which are prohibited from the supply of cheese to the Russian market, and now seven enterprises of Ukraine - in addition to the first three “blacklist” were credited with the Bashtansky and Lozovsky rawls, “Bel SHOSTARIA Khmelnitsky oil -rawarbase. Rospotrebnadzor was supposed to start checkers of the cheesepots in Ukraine on March 19, but the head of Rospotrebnadzor Onishchenko said that the audit was postponed because Kiev did not prepare the normal program of this audit.

The chairman of the State Phytosanitarian Service of Ukraine Ivan Bisyuk called the statement by Onishchenko a lie. In Ukrainian cheeses, which were the first to ban Rospotrebnadzor, there was no palm oil, Bisyuk assured, referring to the results of an independent examination conducted abroad by order of the Ukrainian side.

This week, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych signed a law regulating the application of foreign economic measures in response to discrimination or unfriendly activities by foreign states. The law gives the government the right to apply the licensing regime, and the Verkhovna Rada - the right to introduce a full or partial embargo, as well as to terminate the most favorable regime or a special preferential regime.

However, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Valery Khoroshkovsky eliminates the introduction of oncoming trading restrictions in response to such actions by the countries of the Customs Union of the Unified Economic Space (Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus).

It should be noted that Gennady Onishchenko had not previously expressed a desire to personally go to Georgia and Moldova, some products of which are still banned in Russia.
