As a Muslim, I consider myself obligated to speak out about the events in Toulouse.
I look at several photos of Mohammed Mer available on the Internet, I think about what he did - and it seems to me, brothers and sisters, that the guy had problems with his head. It’s hard to call him a Mujahid. In my opinion, he is something like Breivik.
People who are ready to go to istishhad are not so common and are of great value. Moreover, if this is a person who is well acquainted with local realities, does not attract attention, etc. In this case, a citizen of a European country who has lived in it all or most of his life. But this Mera did the stupidest and worst thing that could be done. Killed 7 people - several Jewish children, a rabbi and soldiers.
Taking the moral aspect out of brackets - that civilians, especially children, cannot be killed - what do we get?
1. If a person is against Jews living in Israel, why kill them in France? If it becomes dangerous for French Jews to live in France, they will move to Israel. As far as I understand, this is what all Israeli propaganda is based on: Jews should have their own state in order, roughly speaking, to be able to shoot back when they are shot at.
2. Soldiers don't decide anything. But if a person sets his goal to destroy soldiers and is ready to sacrifice his life at the same time, he could choose a place and time when soldiers are marching somewhere in formation, and kill a lot of them at once, throwing grenades and shooting them with a machine gun. Another thing is that killing French soldiers in France is idiotic, they have every right to be there, and where else should they be?
3. As for me, if a person firmly believes that he is right and is ready for istishhad, then it would be much more worthy to choose as his target the one on whom something depends, who makes decisions and who is guilty of crimes against Muslims. There are such people in the world. But it’s not so stupid to kill 7 people, none of whom are guilty of anything, and die yourself.
4. When you decide to commit an irreparable act, you need to think not about pouring out your emotions, but about what effect it will have. The measure cost eight human lives, including his own, and the result will be the same - persecution of European Muslims.
My humble opinion is that in a peaceful Europe, armed attacks by Muslims on anyone can only benefit the enemies of Allah. Several of these “Muslim Breiviks” - and the phrase “We are fighting terrorism” can justify absolutely any action against Muslims. We went through this, why do the French brothers also need such “happiness”?
