In 2012, the launch of Sochi 2014 coins will be held in several stages. On the back of the coins next to the athletes depicts endemic plants that grow in the Sochi region. Another coin of the series is the gold of 1000 rubles "Fauna Sochi". The coin is decorated with an allegorical image of the goddess Fauna.
