25-ruble coin with talismans of the Sochi Olympiad was released

The mass production of a commemorative 25-ruble coin with talismans of the 2014 Games in Sochi opened the second series of the Sochi 2014 monetary program. The circulation of coins with a bear, a bunny and a leopard will be up to 10 million pieces.

In total, in 2012, 12 “Olympic” coins of various costs and dignity of thematic series “Modern Sports, included in the program of the Olympic Winter Games”, “Fauna and Fauna Sochi”, “Sports of the First Olympic Winter Games” and “Russian Winter”, reports “Soviet Sports” .

In 2012, the launch of Sochi 2014 coins will be held in several stages. In addition to coins with talismans, in February 2012, four silver commemorative coins will be released with a face value of 3 rubles “Skeleton”, “Snowboard”, “Freestyle” and “Skiing with a springboard” (dedicated to a centenary of ski jumps in Russia) with a circulation of up to 35 thousand pieces of each.

On the back of the coins next to the athletes depicts endemic plants that grow in the Sochi region. Another coin of the series is the gold of 1000 rubles "Fauna Sochi". The coin is decorated with an allegorical image of the goddess Fauna.

In September 2012, coins from precious metals will go on sale - a commemorative silver coin with a face value of 100 rubles from the Russian Winter collection, called the Maslenichnichnaya Pillage, as well as two memorable gold coins "Types of Sports of the First Olympic Winter Games" with a face -capacity of 50 rubles - "skating sport" and "skiing".

Also in 2012, the Assortment of Investment Coins "Sochi 2014" will be supplemented by three coins with the 2014 game talisman - a white bear. Among them is a silver coin with a face value of 3 rubles, a gold coin with a face value of 50 rubles and a gold coin with a face value of 100 rubles.
