The Jewish community of Turkey is outraged by the shampoo advertising, the authors of which used the ancient records of the speech of the leader of Nazi Germany Adolf Hitler. The country's chief rabbi published a statement condemning advertising, reports Newsru Israel with reference to the Hurriyet Turkish newspaper.
The advertisement used Hitler’s records of one of Hitler’s performances, with the credits that say: “If you do not wear women's clothing, then do not use women's shampoo. Take this one. Real men use such shampoo.”
The chief rabbi of Turkey Isak Galev wrote a statement condemning the use of Hitler's image for advertising purposes. He emphasized that the Jewish community had previously asked to remove scandalous advertising from the air, but the request was not fulfilled.
"We remind you that it is unacceptable to use Hitler’s image for commercial purposes, an example of the most monstrous regime in history that destroyed millions of people. We demand a public apology," Galeva said in a statement.
Recall that the use of Nazi Germany for advertising purposes is not so rare. In January, the Circuit Factory fitness center in Dubai published an advertisement on his page on the Internet, which used a photograph of the death camp in Auschwitz and the slogan "Farewell to calories!".
