Anti-torture advocates?

In the comments to the post about the Kazan rally against torture and the simultaneous (at the same time, on the same Freedom Square) alternative rally of the Young Guard, there was the following dialogue:

Without getting into abstract conversations about the fact that these are deceived children. They are, of course, deceived fools, but they are not deaf or blind, and they have long been aware of the thieving nature of the government they came to serve for a penny. And even more so, in general terms, he is aware of the criminality that took place in the police. So, everything is clear here: crafty young people who want to advance in life hand in hand with the power of thieves and Gestapo fanatics.
