Strong alcohol in Kamchatka will be sold only 12 hours a day

By a decree of the government of the Kamchatka Territory, the time limit for banning the sale of alcoholic beverages with an alcohol content of more than 5% has been increased by 3 hours, Interfax reports, citing the press service of the regional government on Friday, March 30.

“Retail sales of any alcoholic products, except beer and beer-based drinks with an ethyl alcohol content of 5 percent or more, will be prohibited from mid-April from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m.,” the message clarifies.

Previously, the ban on the sale of light alcohol in the region was in effect from 23.00 to 8.00.
