A policeman and a bystander died when police officers were fired upon in Makhachkala

One policeman and a bystander were killed, two more people were injured as a result of an attack on employees of the convoy service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Makhachkala, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan told Interfax on Friday.

According to the agency's interlocutor, at about 18:00 unknown persons fired at employees of the convoy service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs walking along Zamanova Street.

“According to preliminary data, one policeman was killed and another was wounded. A woman walking along the street was hit and killed by the criminals’ bullets, and her companion was wounded,” said a representative of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan.
