Three victims of a plane crash near Tyumen were sent to Moscow

Three residents of Tyumen injured in the crash of the ATR-72 plane will be taken for treatment to Moscow, Interfax was told by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Tyumen Region.

“A council of doctors from regional hospitals (Tyumen) and specialists from the All-Russian Center for Disaster Medicine “Zashchita” decided to transport three victims by plane of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations to medical institutions in Moscow for further treatment,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

All three victims are residents of Tyumen.

The ATR-72 aircraft of UTair airlines, traveling on flight UTA-120 Tyumen-Surgut, crashed near Tyumen on Monday morning after taking off from Roshchino airport. There were 39 passengers and 4 crew members on board. According to the latest data, 12 people were injured, 31 people died, including the entire crew. The identification procedure for the dead is scheduled for Tuesday.
