
The Soviet and Russian theater and film actor, People's Artist of the RSFSR Anatoly Ravikovich died on Sunday, April 8, in St. Petersburg. This was reported by the RIA Novosti website with reference to the representatives of the Akimov comedy Theater, where the actor worked. The date and place of farewell and funeral have not yet been defined.
According to the interlocutor of the agency, Ravikovich died in one of the St. Petersburg clinics after a short illness. According to Interfax , Ravikovich had an incurable cancer.
Ravikovich was born on December 24, 1936 in Leningrad. In 1958 he graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinema. In 1958-1961 he worked at the Drama Theater of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, in 1961-1962 he played on the stage of the Volgograd theater named after Gorky.
In 1962, Ravikovich moved to the Leningrad Theater named after Lensovet. From 1988 until recently he served in the St. Petersburg Academic Theater of Comedy named after Akimov.
Ravikovich performed more than 40 roles in the cinema. The audience was remembered for the role of Sobotov in the film "Pokrovsky Gate".
