A new redistribution of property is coming... Cruel and bloody.

Hundreds of camps, prisons, pre-trial detention centers and villages are scattered across the gigantic expanses of Russia; from Murmansk to Sakhalin stretches the huge and clumsy bear of GuLAG, which has now been modestly renamed the FSIN - the Federal Penitentiary Service. Currently, more than 1 million convicts (including those under investigation who are in pre-trial detention centers) are serving their sentences in the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service system. This is a really existing state within a state, with its kings and crown princes, legends and fairy tales, foundations and traditions that have developed over decades, with its own budget, called the “common fund”, we are talking about tens of millions of dollars. But all this is just a background, a generally accepted picture that allows all kinds of my colleagues who have not seen or known the “New Gulag” from the inside to speculate about its structure, laws and principles of existence. And even try to make documentaries and supposedly defend convicts. Alas, they look funny... But in reality everything is completely different. In principle.

In fact, deep-seated, internal changes are now taking place in the new Russian Gulag, which, in their essence, have already broken the very system of serving punishment from the inside and in the very near future will smoothly flow into our everyday, free life. And the relationship between government, business and crime that has developed over the past decades will be overturned. A new and terrible redistribution of spheres of influence and property is coming. Bloody and infinitely cruel . In comparison, the “dashing nineties” will seem like a small showdown between provincial bandits. New people will come, strong, smart, evil, unprincipled, who have gone through hell, who have lost everything and therefore are not afraid of anything. And these events may begin in the coming years.

The fact is that over the past decade, tens of thousands of former businessmen have ended up in camps, “closed” by their competitors, the authorities, and the cops who took their factories, newspapers, and ships from them. The exes, for the most part, ended up behind bars without money or any help, abandoned by their families and friends. I'm not talking about some of the PR banners around which human rights activists, journalists and expensive lawyers obsequiously fuss. There are only a few of them. I'm talking about those former, little-known ones, lost in the gloomy northern zones and settlements, on “forest business trips” and long-distance shipments. And these “lost people” now number more than 50 thousand. And their sentences range from 8 to 14 years on average, mostly under strict regime. I saw them. I spoke with many of them and observed what happened and is happening in this terrible decade for them. And with a chill in my soul I felt the impending changes coming from their eyes and words, from their actions and actions. And also on how the map of time and certain events lay out.

Former businessmen who ended up in camps (from now on we’ll just call them “formers”), who lost everything and went through the circles of hell behind bars, were clearly divided into two categories by natural selection in subsequent years – let’s call them conventionally “Weak” and “Strong.”

The weak immediately, in the very first months (and some even lasted a couple of years), as they say in the camps, fled - they cried after the verdict, tried to hang themselves, begged their loved ones not to abandon them. Then they humiliated themselves in front of the thieves, trying to buy themselves some benefits in the form of a comfortable bunk and the opportunity not to clean the dalnyak (toilet). Or simply so as not to be beaten. And subsequently, these people moved to the camps as either “shnyry” (servants) for thieves, or in “goathouses”, becoming all kinds of caretakers and orderlies in the service of the camp authorities. And again with one goal - to survive. At least somehow. Without principles and rules. Just to hold out for a long time and then quietly and anonymously dissolve in the vastness of Russia. But such “weak” people were in the minority. Their percentage is very small. This was to be expected, since people who managed to start a business and earn millions before going to jail cannot be weak in the first place. But those I just talked about are rather the exception to the rule.

S strong. They withstood everything that fate and those who ordered their criminal cases had in store for them. They went through prisons, courts, conflicts with the criminal world and managed to establish themselves as leaders in the criminal environment. In recent years, events have occurred that were impossible to imagine, say, in the 90s. In a number of maximum security colonies for those convicted for the first time, even the “supervisors” were business people who previously had nothing to do with the criminal community, but now became its heads. Many of them are admitted and even manage "common funds" in the zones - the "commercial" ones are better at this, past free experience has yielded results behind bars.

That is, strong, experienced people who have gone through all the circles of hell, who have nothing to lose and no one to fear, are gradually leading criminal structures located within the “new Gulag” system. Something happened that law enforcement officers and the former partners of the inmates who sent them to the bunks could not have expected or foreseen - a merging of former businessmen, smart and literate, took place with the broad masses of the criminal world, less developed, but living a criminal lifestyle and ready to go to any lengths. actions . At the same time, the leading position in this tandem is occupied by “strong” businessmen, since they know where to go and what to do. Let me give you a few specific examples.

Former businessman and even at one time government official Denis M. in 2006 received seven years of strict regime. Now he is serving in one of the camps in the R... region. Over the past years, he has repeatedly communicated with leaders of the criminal world and has established himself as a strong, intelligent and determined person who is not afraid of anything and has nothing to lose. And soon Dan already enjoyed unquestioned authority in the criminal community. He went through camps, stages, punishment cells. In 2009, Denis M. “looked after the roof,” that is, he was responsible for the normal conditions of detention of prisoners sitting in punishment cells, SUS (strict conditions of detention) and in PKT (cell-type premises), provided “warming,” etc. And then - more.

Or the big businessman Alexander P. He received nine years of strict imprisonment for extortion, or rather for trying to get his business and real estate back from the cops. He has been in prison for a long time - he spent several years in prison, where he was in the same cell with famous crime bosses, and then the most brutal stages, including the legendary “Black Swan”. He didn’t break down, he endured everything that was prepared for him by the system. Thanks to his intellect and willpower, he enjoys unquestioned authority, both among the criminal environment in the camps and among those who are already free. A born leader, ideologist and organizer.

And also prisoners from YUKOS... Of course, I’m not talking about Khodorkovsky and Lebedev, who are public figures and favored by human rights activists and journalists. We're not talking about them. And we are talking about those who were imprisoned in the “YUKOS affairs” for huge periods (from 6 to 15 years), having lost everything. About those who were instantly forgotten by noisy human rights activists and my colleagues. About those who innocently (mostly) suffered because of their place of work. Nobody remembers them, their names are not in any publication. Lost and forgotten people. They themselves are fighting for survival and most of the ex-Yukosites have taken significant places in the criminal hierarchy, places worthy of their intelligence and spiritual strength. This is about 600 more people. Only the gasoline of oblivion has been added to their internal fires, unlike the former bosses Khodorkovsky and Lebedev. And such fires burn hotter. Although the “Yukosites” make up only a small percentage of the total number of “formers”. And the “former” are bankers, oil workers, financiers, real estate specialists, and experts in high technology.

I personally know hundreds of these strong people. And there are already tens of thousands of them in all the camps of the country. And they are all striving for freedom, and freedom in the understanding of these people is the restoration of what was taken away, the possession of power and retribution for those who once ruined their lives. That is, redistribution. New and scary. The terms of imprisonment for most “Formers” end in 2012 – 2014. Representatives of the “classic” criminal world are constantly released. They return to the camps and leave again, being a definite link between the “former” behind bars and outside.

And the third component of the merger of criminal businessmen and professional criminals are the people who joined them from the organized criminal groups of the 90s (Medvedkovsky, Dolgoprudnensky, Tagansky, Lyuberetsky, etc.), who by the same time (2012-2014) .) the gigantic deadlines given to them during the first redistribution period, that is, in 1995-98, are ending. On average, the most serious people then received 16-18 years of strict regime. That is, in the coming years, thousands of leaders of criminal communities of the 90s will be released. And not only the leaders, but also ordinary torpedoes - fighters and killers.

So, in the coming years we will get a stable and terrible triangle in the wild. Led by former businessmen who were previously thrown out of normal life and led the criminal movement in prison. In the other corner of this figure is the historically established criminal community of professional criminals with their hierarchy, money, connections and willingness to commit acts. The third corner is occupied by former members of organized criminal communities of the 90s, who served huge sentences for murders, showdowns, weapons and participation in gang groups. These people have gone through everything and are not afraid of anything, most of them are driven by the thirst for retribution and restoration of the status quo (again, in their understanding. And their understanding is very tough and very Jesuitical, which is practically impossible to calculate). The Triple Force is ready for war.

And THEY will immediately begin the struggle for power, for money and for the restoration of justice in their current understanding. Moreover, the paths of this struggle to people who are free, well-fed and supposedly protected by law enforcement agencies will seem incomprehensible and transcendental. But the paths will be exactly like this - with cruelty that knows no boundaries. For those who have returned to the free world, the goal justifies any means. I think that those who, through their actions (squeezing out capital, property, custom-made sentences, etc.) unwittingly created this “Army of the Former”, are already sleeping restlessly, since the return dates can be easily calculated and they are not far off. And very soon, in the next two years, they will flee... Even more billions will begin to be withdrawn from the country, and the population of London will increase by many thousands of new fugitives from Russia. But this time they will run not from the cops and the authorities, but from their own former partners, who were once sent to jail. And new “formers” will come to take their place.

In the very near future, a new, most powerful and brutal redistribution of property and influence, and therefore power, is coming. And this redistribution will begin at the end of this year and will reach its climax in 2014. Get ready...
