The participant in the robbery of collectors in Samara was previously an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

One of the criminals who robbed employees of the Samara Rosinkas for 10 million rubles previously worked in law enforcement agencies, a source in the law enforcement agencies of the Samara region told Interfax .

“One of the detainees in the case of a robbery worth 10 million rubles previously worked as a collector and was also an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs,” the agency’s interlocutor said. In addition, the police believe that the four robbers detained had accomplices.

The incident occurred near the post office in Samara on the morning of Tuesday, April 10. A collector who was approaching the post office was attacked by a robber, who had previously pretended to clean the area, and stole a bag containing 10 million rubles and a pistol.

At this time, three more unknown people in masks ran out of a tinted VAZ-2102 parked next to the post office. All of them were wearing bulletproof vests, one of them turned out to be armed with a traumatic pistol. Rosinkas employees, who were not wearing bulletproof vests in violation of instructions, left the machine gun in their official car and ran away from the scene.

Four robbers were caught. They were detained during a large-scale operation together with FSB officers on the evening of the day of the robbery; all of them were unemployed residents of Samara. 8.3 million rubles were confiscated from them.

The involvement of collectors in the crime has not yet been established. The Russian collection association "Rosinkas" began an internal inspection of the Samara branch after the robbery of collectors.
