Rock against Article 282

In my support and against the notorious Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the groups ArtTester (Vyborg), Auswais (St. Petersburg), Kuronkoskor (St. Petersburg) performed at the Kochegarka club.

When I arrived at the club, daziba were hung on the walls outlining the history of the city prosecutor’s office’s attack on me and a call to repeal Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (they did not mention the second of the articles imputed to me, 280, due to its insignificance (2 years). Here they wrote about my case .

The concert, as often happens in rock and roll, began almost an hour later than the announced time. ArtTester was the first to take the stage. Seryoga Dolgiy announced the goals and objectives of the event and invited me to the stage.

In a short speech, I talked about how and why the prosecutor’s office opened a case against me, confirmed my dislike for Uncle Putin and called for a solidarity struggle against tyranny. I also accused the city prosecutor Oleg Minaev of inciting hatred and hostility towards the social group “extremists” for political reasons;)

It is interesting that in the hall there were quite a large number of people who were the heroes of my publications: one was thrown out of the apartment by the crooked court with his child, others were victims of cops and bandits (poorly distinguishable from each other) attacks on the club. Still others worked as volunteers to clean ancient cemeteries and are trying to prevent their final destruction, while the fourth fell under raider control - they have not registered him at his place of residence for decades and are trying to deprive him of his home. A fifth organized festivals, a sixth created a canteen for street children.

Even the phrase I took as the title of the article is the text of a tattoo on the hand of a person present in the hall. I published a photograph of this very hand with the marks of handcuffs still visible a week after the court found this man not guilty. It was one major father-policeman who came drunk to the club to deal with the offenders of his son, who had started a row in the company of the same young men. Well, on the orders of the pope, they detained those who he did not visually like...

In short, except for the fan groups of St. Petersburg teams that came from St. Petersburg, almost everyone knew me as a journalist and personally.

I stood up for the club many times. Now the club stood up for me. And I, realizing that this was a symbolic gesture that would not help Kochegarka solve its problems with the administration, accepted it with gratitude.

The concert, meanwhile, went great!

It's high time for ArtTester to sign up. Until the heat died down. Dolgy actually made an excellent program that fit neatly into the protest context of the concert. His instincts as a poet and his ability to command an audience did not let him down - each composition hit the right spot.

By the time Dolgy came down from the stage, I was already shouting to him: “Am I an extremist? You are the extremist! So special thanks to Dolgoy for his creativity and talent!

Ausweis sounded good too. And the band itself played well, and the sound in the Kochegarka became much better. And Seryozha Yudin trained his hand in camera work (all groups were checked for literally five minutes).

This time, and I have known this group for a long time, Ausweis was heard in a new form. Somehow calmer and softer. Perhaps this is a consequence of the fact that Methodius, according to him, became a convert to Orthodoxy and upon his arrival in Vyborg visited a couple of churches. Well, I don't know...

Great lighting of Kuronkoskor! Great post-punk, lively and relaxed. Apparently the guys live in what they play. After the concert, they specifically confirmed their participation in the event, as in a protest action.

At the end of the action, I felt like a complete star, supported by the masses - as a victim of the usurpers, they tried to treat me to beer, patted me on the shoulder, the girls smiled more invitingly than before.

Thanks to the city attorney! Two or three more hits and I'll be Mick Jagger!

In informal communication after the concert, the same thing happened as everywhere else. We discussed the Pussy Riot case, the watches and apartments of citizen Vladimir Gundyaev, and expectations for the March 6 protests in major cities. And, naturally, another attempt by the authorities to strangle the club with rent.
