The police arranged some idiotic round dance in Astrakhan today.
About three hundred protesters gathered on Kirov Square and tried to install an awning. The colonel, several lieutenant colonels and majors, came running in the company of dozens of riot police fighters who began to squeeze people out of the square and try to recapture the awning from us. They were trained very badly, but in the end they managed to heroically surround the not even collected awning and stood around it for about an hour and a half.
From the Kremlin to the local administration they call every day with cries: to prevent the Maidan, to suppress attempts to put up tents. And the police in such a comically fights the "orange threat." True, according to my observations, this has the opposite effect: the irritation of the Astrakhan by the Zapolia of the riot police is growing. So by Saturday, angry townspeople will be much larger.
