A residential building collapsed in China, nine dead

Nine people gathered to prepare for the funeral died during the collapse of a four -story building in the Chinese province of Hunan, the Chinese agency Sinhua reports.

The building collapsed early on Sunday morning in the city of Longyan in the northeast of the country.

According to preliminary data, the cause of the collapse of the building was an explosion in the underground garage adjacent to it.

Another 55 people who received various injuries as a result of the collapse are hospitalized.
