No to human trafficking

Gulnoza Yuldasheva, who lives in the Chinaz district of the Tashkent region, ended up in prison after accusing the local police, prosecutor's office, judicial system, and administration officials of involvement in crimes related to human trafficking. She allegedly conducted her own investigation into the disappearance of her relatives, who were sold into slavery in neighboring Kazakhstan, and found out that local authorities and law enforcement officers were involved in the disappearances of people. As soon as she told the correspondents of the Uzbek service of Radio Liberty (Ozodlik) about this, she found herself in prison.

Every year, thousands of criminal cases related to trafficking in living goods, that is, people, are opened in Uzbekistan. Every year the authorities talk about the successes achieved. And the cart, unfortunately, is still there.
