At Library Night we practiced printing samizdat

The international “ Memorial ” on library night, with a full house, delighted guests with a competition for printing samizdat leaflets on old typewriters. Indeed, if the authorities turn off the Internet and electricity, then how to achieve transparency. It is gratifying that one of the winners of the competition was a ten-year-old teenager, which means that the number of free people is growing.

It was also interesting to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Soviet period, when at one end of the hall they read a letter from Solzhenitsyn, which came from the “radio broadcast” from abroad and was jammed in the USSR, and at the other end of the hall the Soviet people branded Solzhenitsyn for mocking the Motherland.

Well, the intellectual highlight was the discussion at the round table “Self-censorship VS Freedom of Speech”, where among the participants were Anna Narinskaya, Daniil Dondurey, Denis Dragunsky, Ekaterina Krongauz, Maxim Krongauz.
