We are publishing a transcript of the speech of our regular author, Dr. Philol. Sciences PM Frumkina at the “TrV-Science Birthday”
Let's face it, it was a wonderful newspaper. I don’t remember how this collaboration began for me, but the opportunity itself is wonderful - to write regularly, approximately imagining the audience and knowing that if the audience opens its ears, it may not read the first work, not the second, then the third, and then it will be discovered that what a lot of people read. And unexpectedly wide circles. Not necessarily from the scientific world. They ask: “Did you write this?” - "Yes". - “What else is there? Where can I get this?” Overall, the audience appears to be expanding.
What’s nice is the simplicity of the path from the idea to what is already realized in the material. This is absolutely wonderful. Everyone needs an editor, absolutely everyone. A person who does not need an editor (for my rather extensive experience in writing and typing) does not exist at all. Because you will definitely either lie or do something else. But if you treat this responsibly enough, which is done here as a team, then in general everything is fine. If anything happens, they will correct you or you will correct it. The process itself turned out to be neat from the moment of conception to implementation. This is cool.
Now as for the audience. It is clearly more than you could have imagined before. Because people are curious, and they look at both the topic and the author. I know for sure that people read me more or less in direct proportion to what I’m talking about. Or they don’t read me just as much, regardless of what it’s about. This is an indicator that the media itself has a lot of weight, otherwise people would not have discovered it. Do they have nothing better to do? They read the attacks.
In general, thanks to everyone, and God grant that things will at least be no worse. Thank you.
