Moldova calls the ambassador from Russia

The Government of Moldova decided to withdraw the ambassador of Andrei Neguts from Russia. It is reported by MoldNews . The Prime Minister of the Republic of Vlad Filat emphasized that the ambassador’s review was not caused by conflict with Russia, but not a good work of the Negists himself, who was sent to Moscow in 2008.

The resignation is associated with the statement of the ambassador regarding the Russian troops in Transnistria. In an interview with ITAR-TASS, Andrei Negutsa said that the withdrawal of the Russian army, which, including protects warehouses with weapons, will increase the threat to Moldova and for the region as a whole. Prime Minister Filat said that the position of the government of the republic is unchanged: the official Chisinau is sure that Russia should withdraw troops from Transnistria.

“He incorrectly placed accents. Unfortunately, his statements contradict the positions of the Foreign Ministry. Maybe his day was heavy, I don’t know, ”said Yuri Lyanke, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova.
