In many cities there is a fashion for metal sculptures. Here in Chelyabinsk there is one on Kirov Street. But there are also completely original ones. Here is a sculptural image made of metal, which bears the innocent name “Monument to the Plumber.” Although I really want to rename it “Monument to the Digger.”
Of course, the designer of Omsk streets did not have anything criminal in mind. This is what happened in our politically distorted consciousness.
With every start of a new Putiniana, one remembers “Tales of a Kremlin Digger”, and not other books about the future president in the spirit of “Malaya Zemlya”.
The plumber is calm and good-natured. He has an adjustable wrench and a standard helmet.
But either a cunning squint, or an overly intelligent look... reveals something more informative in him. Maybe this really is a digger exploring the subsoil? Once a member of the Kremlin, but now exiled to Siberia?
