Rally "For direct elections of governors" and a picket against paid education

April 24 on pl. Novosobornaya took place a rally organized by the party “Just business”. The purpose of the rally was to attract public attention to attempts to distort the bill “On the General Principles of the Organization of Legislative and Executive Bodies of State Power of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation”, proposed by President D. Medvedev.



About 20 representatives of the right business and representatives from the Yabloko party participated in the action.


The rally lasted 30 minutes, the Novosobornaya Square all this time was almost empty


On the same day, at the main entrance of TSU, a picket was held against paid education, organized by representatives of the Left Political Bloc of Tomsk.


Picket participants distributed leaflets to passers -by and students with information about education reform and the newspaper Tomsk Socialist
