Ukrainians: goodbye, ridiculous power!

A reputable Internet site, owned by an even more reputable Ukrainian TV channel, conducted a survey among readers about their desire or unwillingness to part with their homeland. So, only 18 percent of those surveyed said that they were satisfied with everything in Ukraine and they would not want to leave there! 47 percent dream of leaving their homeland, but do not yet have such an opportunity, and the rest have either already left their homeland or are on the verge of this unpatriotic act.

It is difficult to say whether this survey was conducted accidentally or intentionally shortly before Victory Day, but the result was a very symbolic result that left an extremely vile taste in the soul. Despite its obvious unrepresentativeness, the Internet survey, however, shows a very similar and clearly expressed trend: Ukrainians for the most part do not want to live in Ukraine! And from here it is very close to an unambiguous and eerie conclusion: their fathers and grandfathers shed their blood in vain if their sons, grandsons and great-grandchildren value little the won will and the right to live freely in a free country.

What's the matter? This mystery is great. A major power was sent down from there, from where everything else good and bad is sent down to us, a huge territory in the center of Europe, two warm seas, dense forests, picturesque mountains, a climate without terrible Siberian frosts and African heat, black soil, which is not even close to anything else. who in the whole world, as well as a powerful industry, thanks to which some Chinese could comfortably support all of their almost two billion consumers. Here are the lowest wages and the highest mortality rate in all of Europe! What nonsense?!

Whatever one may say, it’s only about us – today’s Ukrainians and no one else: not Muscovites, not Berliners, not Washingtonians. Here's a live example offhand. Several years ago, one of the regional courts considered a lawsuit with political overtones. A lawyer with an active life position tried to challenge the decisions of the country's leadership with the help of this court and received a decisive refusal. And two years later, the same lawyer filed a lawsuit in the same court on absolutely the same grounds and with absolutely the same arguments. And this time I received a decision that was diametrically opposite to the one two years ago! The judges are the same, the laws are the same, the arguments are the same, but the result is completely different, because the political situation has changed. In other words, there is no court in the country in the civilized sense of the word. Even the people’s representatives, without hesitation, claim that it is pointless for a person who does not have any sums of money to his name to go to the Ukrainian court. And if there is no righteous judgment, there is no power. And so - for almost all positions of state building in the power of Ukraine.

And what about the Ukrainians themselves? Yes, they are eager to move away from their historical homeland. The Greeks, French and “various other Swedes” are fighting for their rights, and the Ukrainians are packing their suitcases: some in reality, and some in fruitless dreams.

And it becomes terribly offensive for our fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers, whose feat we will soon once again celebrate. That’s not what they fought for, not for these current panic moods and disregard for their homeland. We speak many beautiful words these days, but what words! We need to prove by deeds that we can be at least approximately, at least a little bit, like our ancestors with their highest moral spirit, readiness for self-sacrifice and inexhaustible faith in tomorrow.
