Chechen Plenipotentiary Envoy to the President Bekhan Taimakhanov considers the incident at the Evropeisky shopping center in Moscow involving the wife of his deputy Tamerlan Mingaev Madina to be settled.
“This incident has been settled,” Taimakhanov told Interfax on Wednesday, refusing to explain exactly how the situation was resolved.
At the same time, he emphasized that “any incidents on the road should be resolved not with fists, but in the legal field.”
Earlier, activists of the public organization "StopHam" posted a video on the Internet with a recording of a fight that broke out near the Evropeysky shopping center after the activists tried to stick a sticker "I park as I want!" on the windshield of an illegally parked car of the wife of the Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of Chechnya under the President Madina Mingayeva. The head of the organization, Dmitry Chugunov, said that Mingayeva’s representatives still have not apologized to him and other injured activists for the fight.
“I don’t know whether the incident can be considered over. Probably, it can, but no one contacted me, and we never heard any apologies from anyone,” Chugunov told Interfax .
At the same time, he added that he does not intend to sue the offenders. “Sueing is not our main task. Ultimately, we achieved our goal: the illegally parked car drove away. In addition, the situation caused a wide public outcry. Now these people will think twice before parking the car incorrectly,” the activist noted.
