#Surkov propaganda attacks

I was doing a report about the ultra-right May Day, where I was attacked by NTV “journalists.” Moreover, the same guy who broke into the Golos office and was exposed as “Surkov’s propaganda.” Apparently, the best forces have been thrown at me, which is flattering :) I didn’t recognize him right away, so when he came up and asked for a comment, I replied that I’m sorry, but I myself, as a journalist, work here, and I can’t. This didn’t stop him, and then I realized that it was NTV, turned away and left. He, and then his partner with the camera, rushed after me, pushing people aside and shouting: “Vera, answer the question!” It looked something like this:



For the first time, nationalists suddenly stood up for me - apparently, even a liberal journalist is less evil for them than Surkov’s propaganda. The second time this guy accosted me was when everyone was standing in line at the metal detector and began shouting loudly: “Vera, why don’t you hide your sexuality?” Apparently, so that the nationalists would no longer intervene. Fortunately, maskodagama from Kommersant was nearby, who pushed this “journalist” aside with the words: “If a girl rejects you ten times, any pick-up artist will understand that he needs to get rid of him.” Now we are waiting for a video where a provocateur pretending to be a journalist prevents honest NTV reporters from getting to the bottom of the truth.

The guys from NTV have been on guard for about a month: first they called me - this was right after “Anatomy of a Protest” - and asked me to give an interview for the same program “Emergency”. Of course, they were sent extremely politely. Then some three big guys with a camera ambushed me where the meetings of the Libertarian Party were taking place: they say, we are NTV journalists and want to take a comment (about my attitude towards Pussy Riot). The fact that I didn’t want to give them comments didn’t stop them: they poked a camera in my nose while I was opening the door, and if it weren’t for the concierge, they probably would have broken in. I thought they had given up on the matter, but as it turned out, no.

I feel like McFaul and Navalny and I don’t know what to do. Is there any kind of control over them? And by the way, did you find out what this guy’s name is? He showed the press card, but so quickly that it was impossible to read it.

PS After that story, if they call me to give an interview on camera, I always ask what kind of program it is, find the contacts of the TV channel, call them and ask if such and such a journalist works for them and whether he is really preparing a program on such and such a topic now . And I recommend it to everyone.

UPD. The impudent NTV guy's name is Mikhail Ivanov. It turns out that before selling his soul to the devil, he was a DJ in a Tver nightclub.
