Hackers calling themselves representatives of the Russian wing of the Anonymous movement will carry out hacker attacks on government websites on May 6th and 7th. This was reported in a video published on the microblogs @OP_Russia and @LegionRussia .

The video says that in this way Anonymous will support a “mass demonstration against illegitimate elections” (obviously, we are talking about the “ Million March ”). As indicated in the commentary to the video, on May 6, hackers intend to attack the website of the Russian government, and on May 7, the website of the Prime Minister.

The hackers called on those who oppose the “self-elected president crowning himself for the third time” on May 7 to support their action. To do this, they published instructions on how to use tools for carrying out DDoS attacks on the Pastebin service.

“Just a few simple actions will bring the rotten, corrupt system closer to its natural death,” Anonymous noted in its appeal.

The Russian wing of the movement announced itself at the end of January 2012. Then it published emails allegedly belonging to the head of Rosmolodezh Vasily Yakemenko and the press secretary of the Nashi movement Kristina Potupchik .

A few days later, hackers carried out a series of attacks on the websites of the United Russia party. On one of these sites, Anonymous published a video appeal to “corrupt officials and bloggers.” The video contained demands to “stop poisoning the free Internet space,” as well as to stop lying and giving bribes.
