
Oppositionist Alexei Navalny was taken to the world court of Moscow on May 7, where administrative material on his charges of illegal actions on Million Million will be considered on May 6, ITAR-TASS reports.
In relation to the blogger, the case was instituted under Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (“Disocation of the legal order of a police officer”), the maximum punishment for which provides for administrative arrest for up to 15 days.
Earlier on May 7, the coordinator of the "Left Front" Sergei Udaltsov, who was denied hospitalization, was delivered to the court. He is also accused under Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
Currently, law enforcement officers with groups of 15-20 people deliver detainees on the eve of the opposition to the building of the world site number 396 of the Zamoskvoretsky court of Moscow, RIA Novosti reports.
Now near the court two minibuses with detained, mainly young people, and one empty. They do not let the press and people who came to support the detainees, explaining this by the fact that only the direct participants in the process will be allowed into the court premises.
The day before, during the “Million Marsh”, which started from Kaluga Square, clashes of its participants with law enforcement agencies occurred. Over 20 police officers were injured in their course, from 400 to 650 people were detained. According to human rights activists, the conflict that actually broke the expected rally was called by the opposition themselves, who arranged the so -called "sedentary strike" at the Drummer cinema. And as noted by the ex-Minister of Finance Alexei Kudrin, both sides are to blame for the current situation.
Udaltsov, Navalny, as well as Boris Nemtsov, who "escaped" a fine of one thousand rubles were detained from the leaders of the protest movement. On May 7, Nemtsov, as well as about 120 people, was detained during an unauthorized action near Manezhnaya Square. Whether he will be charged under the same 19.3th article is not yet clear.
