Ex-Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko stopped a hunger strike. This was reported by Interfax from the words of the German neuropathologist Lutz Harms.

According to the doctor, he examined Tymoshenko and drew up a “certain” treatment plan. “We will begin to gradually take it out of the state of the hunger strike. At first it will be water and juices, a little later it will begin to eat hard food, ”Harms said at a press conference in Kharkov.

Tymoshenko was transferred from the Kachanovskaya colony to the Kharkov city hospital earlier in the morning of May 9. The ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine was starving since April 24 in protest against the beating of escorts. She is serving a term for abuse of powers when signing contracts for the supply of Russian gas in 2009.
