Today on Dozhd I watched a video from the March of Millions, in which riot police are dragging a girl along the asphalt, and one of the fighters kicks her in the stomach with his boot. The girl, as it turned out, was pregnant; a criminal case was opened into the incident. True, in fact - not against anyone in particular, but simply, well, how can I put it, to nowhere. But the point is not even in this particular case, because no matter who it happens to, the essence does not change at all. And I immediately remembered, firstly, everything that I had seen myself, and secondly, the text in Komsomolskaya Pravda , which my friend Konstantin kindly offered me for the purpose of having fun. And it would really be possible to do so, without really letting what was written pass through me, but for some reason it didn’t work out for me.
In short, I advise everyone to read it and then boycott the newspaper. Let my colleagues not be offended by me: I have already said goodbye to the profession , I no longer need to find an excuse for such “journalism”. There is essentially nothing to comment on here. All these publications, positioning themselves as socio-political, but floating only due to jaundice, should be openly boycotted and, if possible, closed with deprivation of specific authors of the right to work in the media (correction: which, as a result of the “thaw”, will come to replace the SMP - mass media propaganda that exists today). Of course, the one who says that I am going too far will be right, but in this case I just want to be uncompromising, otherwise a public discussion is unlikely to arise. And it is necessary today.
And understand. Indeed, there were riot police who protected people from flying stones during the March. And the stones (pieces of asphalt) really flew. But guys, maybe the fighters should be rewarded for this? Maybe there is something out of the ordinary in this? Well, just think: riot police not only screw and beat, but also protect people! Oh, what a miracle... Isn't it funny? If the riot police somewhere did their job of ensuring order, make the victims of these fighters a small army of a special purpose mobile detachment (guys, riot police - healthy men in helmets, armed with batons), which came out to meet the citizens who had gathered, for a moment, for an authorized rally , which was vilely disrupted by the authorities - this, excuse me, is absurd. That is, you, I hope, understand that the authorized rally was disrupted, and people were brought exactly to the place where an attempt to break through the riot police cordon simply could not fail to take place? A small but significant note.
And here it’s time to ask another question (this thought came to my comrade, not to me): why were the “unfortunate” riot policemen with batons and helmets, but did not have shields, as required? Yes, this certainly allowed them to protect people with their bare hands from flying stones (pieces of asphalt). But there was no way to spray tear gas and deftly wield batons at the kidneys of teenagers, the stomachs of women and the heads of those who were stronger. And in general, to fight back against people who have been squeezed into the most inconvenient place, including people who are no different from me. Overall, it was a very interesting weekend. Perhaps even the most interesting in my life. I think I will remember them for a very long time.
Well, and the fact that these same “brave fighters” after the March for three days selflessly drove old people, teenagers and women on the streets of the capital, threw people into paddy wagons simply for wearing a white ribbon or, in their opinion, inappropriate appearance, allowed themselves, freeing their chests from name badges, smashing photo and video equipment on the asphalt, because they obviously have their own, special idea of what is legal and what is not... read about this and much more on my blog (a little later) and blogs of those who saw it all with their own eyes. Not in Komsomolskaya Pravda. I don’t want to post the video mentioned in the title. It is already being replicated everywhere - absolutely disgusting footage, the likes of which are now abundant on the Internet in order to understand the severity of the current political moment.
PS: The riot policemen who refused to detain people for no reason certainly need to be rewarded immediately after the regime change. For now, they are only under threat of dismissal, as I understand it. And this is another reason for contempt for the current regime. Its, so to speak, costs. Maximum, as usual, vile.
