Former Interior Ministry employee Igor Potokin will appear in court in Belgorod - according to investigators, he provoked a mass brawl and killed a person in it. According to the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee for the Belgorod Region, Potokin has been charged under Part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Intentional infliction of grievous harm to the health of the victim, resulting in his death through negligence”), and the criminal case has been sent to court.

According to the investigation, on August 1, 2010, on the bank of the river in the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, Shebekinsky district, two companies were resting, one of which included Potokin’s parents.
