Google promises to improve the speed and relevance of the search using the semantic tool Knowledge Graph (in the Russian version - “knowledge diagram”), taking into account the relationship between facts and objects of search, the Russian BBC service with reference to the GOGLE corporate blog.
The “knowledge diagram” will be located to the right of the list of links to the web page and will offer users a new search format delivering contextual and dependent information about people and things that they seek. The service, thus, will make a search more like a conversation with a person.

For example, the representative of Google explains, the word "Taj-Mahal" can mean several different things. “Perhaps here this refers to one of the most beautiful buildings in the world, and perhaps a musician who received Grammy. And maybe a casino in the city of Atlantic City. Or a neighboring Indian restaurant with you,” said Google Vice-President Amit Singal.
According to the developers, about 3.5 billion various attributes were used in the creation of KnowLEDGE GRAPH. They are necessary to organize the results of the search so that the data is grouped in the relevant categories.
In addition, for some search queries, for example, for the names of famous people, Google will automatically show compressed information about a particular subject or personality.
The next step for the search engine will be the ability to answer more complex questions, for example, "what are the 10 deepest lakes in Africa?"
At the first stage, Knowledge Graph will be available only for US residents, but over time it will be offered users around the world.
