During the continental championship, he will give forecasts every day on the results of upcoming matches. The official website of the Kyiv administration reports this.

In addition to the boar, the results of the Euro 2012 matches in Ukraine will be predicted by the octopus Pavlik from the Alushta aquarium. It was already “tested” in 2011 during the matches of the Spanish “Barcelona” with the Donetsk “Shakhtar” in the quarter finals of the Champions League . Pavlik correctly predicted the result of the first match (Barcelona's victory), and before the return match he predicted Shakhtar's victory and was wrong (the Spaniards won again).

According to Comments, Pavlik is being prepared for Euro 2012 and the shape of the caps on his food bottles is being changed so that he can “train his tentacles more effectively.”

Match predictions made by animals gained popularity after the 2010 World Cup. During this tournament, the octopus Paul from the aquarium of Oberhausen, Germany, predicted the results of eight matches and was never wrong. In October 2010, Paul died.

As for the fan zone at Euro 2012, it will open on June 7.
